Narendra Modi Ji is the current Prime Minister of India. He was born on September 17, 1950, in Vadnagar, Gujarat, India. Modi’s father was a street merchant, and he worked as a child to help support his family. He received a bachelor’s degree in political science from Gujarat University and later received a Master’s degree in political science from the same institution.

Modi began his political career in the 1980s as a member of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), a Hindu nationalist volunteer organization. He later joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), a right-wing political party in India, and rose through the ranks to become one of its leaders. In 2001, Modi was appointed Chief Minister of Gujarat, a state in western India, and he served in this role for over 13 years.
Modi was elected as the Prime Minister of India in 2014 and was reelected in 2019. During his time in office, he has implemented a number of economic and social policies, including the launch of the Make in India initiative to encourage domestic manufacturing, the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan to clean up the streets and roads, and the Jan Dhan Yojana to provide bank accounts to the poor.

Modi Ji was the third child out of six children of Father Damodardas Mulchand Modi (1915–1989) and MotherHiraben Modi (1923–2022). Modi Ji completed his higher secondary education in Vad Nagar in 1967, with his education he worked with his father in his tea stall at Vad Nagar Railway Station.
At the age of 8yrs, he joined the RSS (Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh) to attend his local shakhas training. During his shakhas training, he met with Lakshmanrao Inamdar, popular known as a Vakil Saheb, Vasant Gajendragadakar, and Nathalal Jaghda, who were founding members of BJP`s (Bharatiya Jana Sangh) Gujarat unit in 1980.
When he was 18 yrs old his family married him to their caste girl named Jashodaben Chimanlal Modi. But after some time Modi Ji left his home and wife too, and this marriage was hidden from the public for a long time. In April 2014, shortly before the national elections, Modi Ji publicly affirmed that he was married and his spouse was Jashodaben.

Modi Ji Election Career
Modi is known for his strong nationalist views and his commitment to Hindu nationalist ideals. He has faced criticism for his handling of communal violence and for his perceived failure to address issues of corruption and economic inequality. However, he remains a popular figure in India and is credited with improving the country’s relations with other nations, particularly in the area of defense and security.
In June 1975 When Indira Gandhi declared the Emergency of State which ended in 1977. During this period called ‘, The Emergency’ many of her opponent party workers were in jail. Modi was appointed as a general secretary of Gujrat Lok Shangrash Smiti. an RSS committee co-ordinating opposition to the Emergency in Gujarat. Shortly RSS was banned, and Modi was forced to go underground and frequently traveled here and printing pamphlets and sending them to Delhi, and organizing demonstrations.
During this period he also wrote a book in Gujarati, Sangharsh Ma Gujarat (In The Struggles of Gujarat). He became an RSS sambhag pracharak in 1978. In 1987 Modi helped organize the BJP’s campaign in the Ahmedabad municipal election. After L.K. Advani become the President of the BJP in 1986, RSS decided to palace their person in the BJP’s important position reason for this in 1987 Modi was elected as organizing secretary of the BJP Gujrat.
Became Cheif Minister of Gujrat
In the 2001 earthquake, Bhuj Patel failed to handle and his administration collapsed so he has some health issues also, because of all party demand for a new chief minister for the state. At that time BJP president L. K. Advani was a bit confused due to lake of knowledge of Modi in politics and he pursue Modi Ji to become deputy chief minister of Gujrat with Patel, but he refused and tell L.K. Advani Ji and Atal Viharee Vajpayee Ji that he was “going to be fully responsible for Gujarat or not at all”. On situation demand on 3rd October 2001, they replace Patel and give him the charge of the state for the 2002 election, where he won the election from Rajkot -II against Ashwin Mehta of the INC and was elected as a Chief Minister of Gujarat.

After winning the Lok Sabha election the National Democratic Alliance won in 2014 Modi was sworn in as the Prime Minister of India on 26th May 2014. After again the National Democratic Alliance won again in the 2019 Lok Sabha election. On 6 December 2020, Modi became again the Prime Minister of India. It is a record that a person becomes the Prime Minister for a decade after winning and being elected by the people of India.
