Lata Ji a great singer one of the few names who faced struggles in her recent life because whenever a person earned fame in a particular field, he/she had to face failures before that. Great Singer Lata Ji`s real name was different:

Lata Mangeshkar was born on 28th September 1929 in the Indore city of Madhya Pradesh tool place at Pandit Dinanath Mangeshkar`s house, her mother’s name was Savanti Bai who was her father`s second wife. He was a very reputed Sastriye Sangeetkar and Artist.

At the age of 5yrs, she got her music training at her home from her father Pandit Dinanath Mangeshkar. Around this age, she played a character for the first time in her father`s play, very few people know that her real name was Hema, but in one of the plays directed by her father, she played a role and people like this character so much because of this her name changed to this character name and she became a Lata Mangeshkar. 

Everything was going so well but in the year 1942 brought them a lot of sorrow because of the early death of her father due to a heart attack at that time she was only thirteen. Because Lata is older in her family she has to take all the responsibility in her little shoulder.

Great Singer Voice rejected at any time:

Sadly, she has become a Queen of music but at an early age, she has to face rejection many times. The main reason is, that in 1940 when she entered this industry at that time Noorjaha and Shamshad Begum were very popular singers and held the market because of their fan following because of this many times she was rejected as said that her voice was very low.

In 1942 she entered the Bollywood industry by not her choice because she was an elder in her family and her siblings were very younger that`s why she entered and between 1942 to 1948 she played a role in more than 8 films in Hindi and Marathi. In 1942 she got a chance to be a playback singer in the Marathi movie Kirtihasa but before the final release of the movie, her song was deleted by the producer.

After all the difficulty she made herself stronger and did more practice. She got rejected and rejected, as if, she was born to change history and no one could stop her became successful. In the end, she got her first breakthrough in the film Majboor in 1948 this was her first step towards success and she got more chances in 1949 to sing a song in films like Mahal, Dulari, Barsaat and Andaaz. Very few people know that Lata Ji and Rafi Sahab have not stopped conversation for almost 3 years. she admitted in her one interview that she got a royalty for her singing in the early 1960s and wanted this for all the singers so she planned to take with her Talat Mahmood and Mukesh and firmed one association and a proposal was put forward to the producers and the HMV recording company that they start giving royalty to the singer against their singing, but no one got it seriously.

Because of this Lata Ji and all the other playback singers stopped singing but Rafi ji was a very simple person and for manipulated by producers and the recording company he became egry and started singing without royalty because of him Lata Ji and all the other singers felt so bad because of Mukesh Ji, Lata ji asked Rafi sahib to stop his singing but he refused them all, by this reason Lata Ji stop conversation with Rafi Sahab.

Sister`s Disputes:

Lata Ji was a very hard-working lady so that same thing she wanted for her sister Asha Ji but Asha Ji had a very different kind of personality and because of this she had an affair with more than double her age, Mr. Ganpat Rao. She wants to marry her because of this reason they fight together reason of this Asha Ji leaves the house and gets married to Mr Ganpat. Although the marriage was not successful and they both separated after a few years but till then Asha Ji had three children and she came back home with her children.

Lata Ji and Asha Ji are in the same field and Lata Ji already became a star reason of this Asha Ji faced more struggles but when she made herself then people started comparisons between both of them who were much talented singers. In 1974 She sang more than 25000 songs in 20 different languages for this reason the Guinness World Record nominated Lata Ji’s name for recognition, but because of Rafi Sahib’s interference, he said, he sang more than Lata  Ji. After his death, Guinness wanted to recognise Lata Ji but she refused to take it for this reason Guinness removed both of the names from their record list and in 2011 they gave this recognition to Asha Ji.
